The Polar Bear is a neutral creature that inhabits the coldest biomes in Minecraft, and can only be spawned in three icy biomes in the game.
Its body is large and its fur is white, like snow. Protruding from its body are large paws and its head. Its muzzle and eyes are black.
Polar Bear behavior
These creatures are neutral, although it is not necessary to attack them for them to attack us, which they will do if we do. It will be enough to get close enough to a polar bear cub for the adult to attack us. Polar bears, both adults and cubs, will try to attack foxes.
Their way of attacking is to stand up on their hind legs to attack the players with their front paws. In the water they are exactly as fast as a player swimming, so it is difficult to get away from them while in the water.
Polar Bear generation
Polar bears can only be generated naturally in three icy biomes in the game, which are Snowy Tundra, Snowy Mountains and Ice Spikes. They require a light level equal or higher than 7 to be generated.
When the conditions are right for polar bears to be generated, they can be generated individually or in groups of up to four entities. If two or more polar bears are generated, there will always be one adult bear and one cub.
